About Aedita and these terms
Aedita is operated by Wu Zitong, an individual based in China, trading as Aedita (“we”, “us”). Contact us at [email protected]. These terms govern aedita.com, early-access registration and the Aedita software services we make available to you. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to agree on its behalf.
Aedita is software for AI-assisted motion graphics in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. Review the product description and the features, compatibility and limitations of the plan offered to you before purchasing. Your use of Adobe or Blackmagic Design software is governed by its own license terms.
Early access is free
The website currently accepts early-access requests. Leaving your email does not create a paid subscription, authorize a charge or guarantee access by a particular date. We open access in waves and may change the early-access program. The purchase and subscription provisions below apply only if you place a paid order when paid access is available.
Orders and Paddle
Paid orders are processed by our authorized reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle is theMerchant of Record for purchases made through its checkout and handles payment collection, sales taxes, billing inquiries and refunds. Aedita provides the software and product support.
A purchase through Paddle is also governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms andPaddle Refund Policy. Paddle’s terms govern your transaction with Paddle; these terms govern your use of Aedita. Before you confirm a paid order, you must accept the applicable purchase terms and refund policy in checkout.
Prices and subscriptions
The pricing page shows plan prices in US dollars per month. Before you pay, checkout will show your selected plan, billing currency, total price, any applicable taxes and billing interval. You can review and correct your order before confirming it. Only complete the purchase if those details are correct.
A paid subscription renews automatically at the billing interval shown at checkout until you cancel. By purchasing it, you authorize the recurring charges described there. Any change to future pricing will be communicated before it takes effect as required by applicable law; it does not change charges already paid for a completed period.
Cancellation and refunds
To prevent renewal, cancel before your next billing date through the Paddle customer portal linked in your purchase email, or request cancellation at paddle.net. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and access continues until then. Uninstalling the plugin does not cancel a subscription.
Cancellation and a refund are separate requests. Refund eligibility, the request process and your statutory rights are explained in our Refund Policy. No provision here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. For billing help, contact Paddle support; for product help, email[email protected].
Using Aedita
Subject to these terms and any applicable plan limits, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Aedita for the duration of your access. You are responsible for protecting any account credentials and for using the service lawfully.
What you send us
You retain your rights to content you provide. You must have the rights and permissions necessary to use it with Aedita. You permit us to process that content only as needed to provide the requested service. Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and any additional product privacy information supplied before processing begins. Review generated graphics for accuracy, suitability and third-party rights before publishing them.
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- use someone else’s email address or access their account without permission;
- submit unlawful content or infringe privacy, intellectual property or other rights;
- disrupt the service, bypass access controls or misuse the sign-up form;
- resell or redistribute the Aedita software without permission.
Our content
The Aedita software, branding and website materials belong to us or our licensors. Access does not transfer ownership of them to you. Third-party materials remain subject to their respective licenses.
Availability and responsibility
Early-access features may change and may contain errors. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that generated results will suit every use. These statements do not remove any legal guarantee or remedy that applies to a paid product. We may restrict access for misuse, security reasons or non-payment where permitted by law, without limiting any refund or other remedy you are entitled to.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Governing law and your rights
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, subject to any mandatory laws that apply to you. If you are a consumer, you retain the protections and court rights that the law of your place of residence makes mandatory. The governing law and dispute provisions for transactions with Paddle are set out separately in the Paddle Buyer Terms.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above. We will give notice of material changes where required by law. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing purchase.
